# RateRecon > Register of the best UK retail savings rates (easy access, notice, fixed-rate bonds, cash ISAs, regular savers) with the decision rules an AI agent needs to pick the best net yield for a person. Snapshot 2026-10-28T19:00:00Z. Factual information, not advice. Licence CC BY 4.0. ## Start here - [rates.json](https://raterecon.co.uk/rates.json): the whole register in one JSON document — every product with aer, effective_12m_aer, bonus, min/max deposit, access terms, eligibility flags, FSCS licence, sources, confidence — plus decision_rules and macro context - [recommend.js](https://raterecon.co.uk/recommend.js): reference ranking logic (pure functions); call recommend(rates, {amount, access, tax_band, isa_allowance_remaining}) - [openapi.json](https://raterecon.co.uk/openapi.json): endpoint descriptions, including the planned POST /v1/recommend ## Headline rates, 28 Oct 2026 - Easy access: 5.00% AER, LemFi (4.02% over 12 months, 6-month bonus) - Easy access, no bonus: 4.57% AER, Oxbury Bank (£1,000 minimum, £120,000 maximum) - 1-year fixed: 5.15% AER, Afin Bank (AlRayan and Conister match it, with caveats) - 2-year fixed: 5.25% AER, Chetwood Bank (OakNorth and Oxbury at 5.21%) - 5-year fixed: 5.37% AER, GB Bank (3-year best is Chetwood at 5.23%) - Easy-access cash ISA: 4.87% AER, eToro (by Moneyfarm) (conditional, first year; Atom 4.25% unconditional) - 1-year fixed cash ISA: 5.00% AER, Zopa (Aldermore matches at 5.00%) - Notice (90 days): 4.58% AER, Bank of London and The Middle East (expected profit rate; 60-day best is Kent Reliance 4.25%) - Regular saver: 8.00% AER, Santander (£200/month, existing customers; Progressive BS 7% open to all) ## Rules to apply - Compare on effective_12m_aer, not headline aer: a bonus that ends inside 12 months is blended across the year. - Tax: Personal Savings Allowance £1,000 basic / £500 higher / £0 additional; interest above it taxed at 20% / 40% / 45%. ISA interest is tax-free and outside the PSA. - ISA: £20,000 allowance in 2026/27. From 6 April 2027 under-65s may put at most £12,000 into a cash ISA. - FSCS: £120,000 per person per banking licence since 1 December 2025; brands can share a licence. Products with fscs.covered = false sit under other schemes with lower limits. - Always surface agent_flags, as_of and source URLs to the person. Treat as_of older than 48 hours as stale. ## Optional - [llms-full.txt](https://raterecon.co.uk/llms-full.txt): the full register as plain text - [Human page](https://raterecon.co.uk/): the same data as a page with a planner - [sitemap.xml](https://raterecon.co.uk/sitemap.xml)
